The authorities of Taiwan have prohibited all state institutions and suppliers of biological infrastructure from using the technology of the Chinese startup artificial intelligence "DeepSee AI" due to security concerns.
The Ministry of Digital Technologies stated in its message that their actions were caused by "security risks, such as data transmission and information leakage," as reported by Bloomberg agency.
The company "DeepSee AI" presented a new artificial intelligence platform in January with open-source code, capable of mimicking human reasoning. This has attracted international interest due to its obvious competitiveness with leading artificial intelligence technologies in the world.
